4. Legal Basis for Processing (For Visitors in the EU/EEA/UK)
If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, we process your data on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the coaching services you've booked with us
- Consent: for optional communications, such as a newsletter, which you can withdraw at any time
- Legitimate interests: to operate and improve our business, provided this does not override your rights
- Legal obligation: where we're required to retain certain records (e.g., for tax purposes)
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We share limited personal data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business. These providers are only permitted to use your data to perform services on our behalf:

We do not currently use website analytics or advertising tracking tools. If we add tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly, and a cookie notice will be added to reflect that change.
6. Cookies
Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which uses essential cookies required for the site to function properly (such as remembering your session preferences). We also use Squarespace's built-in Activity Log to view general, first-party site traffic (such as which pages are visited), which does not rely on non-essential cookies.
When you visit our Site, a cookie banner allows you to choose your cookie preferences. Non-essential cookies are restricted by default and will not be placed unless you actively consent. You can accept all cookies, manage your specific preferences, or decline non-essential cookies at any time through the banner or through your browser settings.
We do not currently run advertising or analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. If we add tools like these in the future, this section will be updated to reflect exactly what non-essential cookies are placed and why.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, and comply with legal and tax obligations, typically for 7 years after our last interaction with you, unless a longer period is required by law.
8. Your Privacy Rights
If you are located in the EU/EEA/UK, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at lia@liacandeloro.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. International Data Transfers
Because our service providers (such as Squarespace and Dubsado) may process data on servers located outside your home country, including in the United States, your data may be transferred internationally. We rely on these providers' own compliance safeguards for such transfers.
